Highway Safety Equipment

Traffic cones or highway road cones and drums are usually cone shaped markers, normally made out of plastic or rubber. Safety cones are used on roads to temporarily redirect people or traffic around unsafe locations. Traffic cones can be found to be highly visible with reflective tape and markings and are made to be easily transportable. Different cone heights are available for all kinds of applications.  

Traffic cones are intended for short term use. When longer term, more sturdier markers are needed you will want to consider if traffic drums or barrels and channelizers. These types of markers can be either permanently fixed to the ground or weighted down with sand bags or weights. And for even longer term solutions you may want to consider barrier boards for even further grater safety and durability.
