To ensure proper grouting be sure to moisten the tiles with a damp tile grout sponge, then slowly force the grout into the tile joints being careful to fill each one completely leaving no spaces. Scrape away the excess grout material using a rubber grout float moving it back and forth to completely finish the area you are grouting. Make sure the grout sponge is nearly wrung all the way dry of water and wipe the joints applying very little pressure diagonally across the tiles. The tile joints should be smooth and uniform. Once the joints are filled and any imperfections are filled, the grout curing process will start. During this time grout haze will develop on the tile surface of the tile. This can be easily removed at this time with the use of terry cloth and using a haze remove solution added to your sponge water.
