Less than 1 horsepower is good from most ceramic and marble tile cutting, but you will need a stronger motor for porcelain and granite tile. For example when using Felker tile saw blades to cut porcelain tile, you would want to use a Felker TM-7 diamond blade specifically designed to cut harder tile. The ceramic tile saw should include a water pump to properly cool the tile blade. Also, you need to be careful when choosing the arbor-hole size on your wet tile saw blade. It may not fit properly on the saw if to small or large. Tile saws are normally very easy to use and make a good project for the contractor and home owner alike. Selecting the correct diamond blade for your Felker Saw, Target Saw or MK Diamond Products saw is easy. Simply click on the links below that relate to the type of tile you needed to cut. Make sure the diameter of the blade you are going to get matches the one on your ceramic tile saw currently. Please feel free to call us with any questions you may have. Thanks!
